Whinifred is our old, converted Bedford horsebox providing cosy, self catering accommodation for two adults with views over the donkeys field, open country side and towards Filey Bay. Positioned in our field on our family farm.

To the front Whini has a raised patio area with bistro set providing the perfect place to sit and enjoy your evening meal with a view of the sunset over the open countryside. Inside is an elevated king size bed with bedding and blankets, electric radiator, private shower room and 5amp plug sockets.

Through the back door is her outdoor kitchenette with fridge, two ring gas hob, stove kettle, cooking utensils and crockery.

On the grass is an outdoor fire pit, the ideal place for toasting marshmallows and sharing stories.

The original cab has been preserved to keep all the original features providing a comfy space to sit back and read your favourite book away from the elements whilst still in the company of the donkeys.

Whinifred also has a wood fired soaking tub tucked away in a field shelter providing the perfect, private setting to lay back and relax. After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats which takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. It is a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub.
